BORDERLINE

I am a plural comet,

A firework

That never dies.

I sway at the edge of doubt.

They want me stable, they want me cold

In frames with right angles.

But my thoughts don’t fit

In the boxes they draw for me.

Border-borderline but alive.

Every flaw in me is burning.

I’m too much or not enough,

But whole even when fractured.

Borderline is my frontier

Between chaos and light,

I don’t fit in, I overflow.

And that’s where I become strong.

I made peace without bending,

Fragments of soul to rebuild.

I am the echo they silenced;

Who today becomes the subject.

I stand balanced on a wire;

Not a fall, but a fragile dance.

Norms brush me, judge me, lie to me

But I answer: I am fluid.

He wants angles, I am curves.

He wants a storm, I bring calm.

But in my trembling,

I hold, I trace, I truly live.

Borderline, not a flaw;

But a flag.

I am the fault line and the ground

where fire is born, where silence is born.

Borderline yes and yet,

I dance at the edge of the cliff.

I sway.

But I never fall….

Border-borderline but alive.

Every flaw in me is burning.

I’m too much or not enough,

But whole even when fractured.

Borderline is my frontierBetween chaos and light,

I don’t fit in, I overflow.

And that’s where I become strong.

I made peace without bending,

Fragments of soul to rebuild.

I am the echo they silenced;

Who today becomes the subject.

I stand balanced on a wire; I stand on a subject, I stand balanced on a wire, I stand

on a subject, I stand balanced on a wire

And who today becomes the subject.

Borderline, not a flaw;

But a flag.

I am the fault line and the ground

where fire is born, where silence is born.

Borderline yes and yet,

I dance at the edge of the cliff.

I sway.

But I never fall….

I stand balanced on a wire;

Not a fall, but a fragile dance, a fragile dance.

Norms brush me, judge me.

Norms brush me, judge me, lie to me

But I answer: I am fluid.

He wants angles, I am curves.

He wants a storm, I bring calm.

But in my trembling,

I hold, I trace, I truly live.

Borderline, not a flaw;

But a flag.

I am the fault line and the ground

where fire is born, where silence is born.

Borderline yes and yet,

I dance at the edge of the cliff.

I sway.

But I never fall….
